2 arrested after May assault in Connecticut

THOMPSON, Conn. (WLNE) — Connecticut State Police said that two men were arrested in connection with an assault that occurred in May.
39-year-old Ruben Field, of Putnam, and 46-year-old Shawn Audet, of Brooklyn, were charged with breach of the peach and conspiracy to commit assault.
Field was also charged with assault on an elderly person.
On the date of the assault, police met with the victim at a local hospital where they were told that the two suspects allegedly assaulted the victim with metal objects.
Audet was arrested on July 29, while Field was arrested on Aug. 23.
Both were held on bonds and were arraigned the day of their arrests.
