2 arrested and charged in Burrillville murder

Police have arrested two people in Worcester who are believed to be allegedly responsible for the murder of Domingo Ortiz who was found Friday afternoon buried in a hole under a deck of a house in Burrillville.

Burrillville, Worcester and Rhode Island State Police arrested Michelle Morin, 40 of 505 Douglas Pike Burrillville, on the strength of an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant charging her with the Murder of Domingo Ortiz late afternoon on May 30th.

Domingo Ortiz, 60, of Worcester, MA was found buried under a new deck in a hand-dug hole and covered with large rocks and cement on May 29th at 505 Douglas Pike.

Ortiz was last seen at this house and went missing May 5th.

Steven Pietrowicz Jr., 39 of 505 Douglas Pike, Burrillville, will also be charged on June 1st in the sixth District Court in Providence with the Murder of Domingo Ortiz. Pietrowicz is being held at the ACI on Domestic Assault charges.

Morin is being held by Worcester Officials as a Fugitive from Justice and is scheduled to be arraigned and submitted for Extradition Proceedings in Worcester District Court on June 1st.
