Two men were arrested after attempting to rob a Dunkin Donuts employee in Providence Saturday afternoon.

Police say 29-year-old Hector Barreto grabbed a bank bag containing $90 in change from a Dunkin Donuts employee at the Citizens Bank on Academy Avenue before as she was about to deposit the money.

The employee then grabbed the gun Barreto was pointing at her, causing it to snap. The gun was later determined to be plastic.
