2 displaced after house fire in Smithfield
SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WLNE) — Firefighters responded to a house fire in Smithfield on Friday morning.
The call came in just before 10 a.m. for a home on Julien Street.
Two elderly people were displaced, and the American Red Cross will be providing assistance.
Mutual aid companies were called to the scene as Smithfield firefighters put out the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
