2 dogs dead, 1 person hospitalized after New Bedford fire
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — One person was hospitalized after a two story home catches fire in New Bedford on Saturday night.
According to the New Bedford Fire Department, nobody was home at the time of the fire, but a female resident was transported to the hospital shortly after arriving to the scene.
The fire chief said 2 dogs died, 2 other pets were rescued, and their are two cats that are missing.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
