2 facing charges following a convenience store robbery

PAWTUCKET, R.I (WLNE) – Two Wareham residents are being charged following a robbery of a Pawtucket convenience store last Thursday.
According to Pawtucket police, the West Mart located on West Avenue was robbed at knife point by two suspects, male and female, at approximately 10:00 p.m and November 14th.
Police say both suspects, entered the store with bandanas covering their faces while each wielding knives.
As they approached the clerk, the clerk attempted to fend them off using a baseball bat.
Police say one suspect was able to open the register and take an unknown amount of money prior to fleeing the scene.
According to the department, the female suspect lost her bandana in the struggle which revealed a tattoo on her face.
Area patrol officers located a woman who matched the description and she was transported to police headquarters for questioning.
The woman now identified 30-year-old Rebecca Vasconcellos is being charged with 1st Degree Robbery and Conspiracy.
The second suspect, who was learned to be her boyfriend, 37-year-old Erik Reardon, was taken into custody by Wareham Police on an Affidavit & Arrest warrant stemming from the robbery.
He is also facing charges with the Wareham Police department.
