Update: 2 Falmouth Police Officers shot expected to survive

FALMOUTH, M.A. (WLNE) – Massachusetts State Police report that two Falmouth Police Officers were shot the evening of Friday July 27 around 5:30 p.m.

The suspect in this incident was also shot, and all three individuals are being transported to the hospital.

One of the officers was treated at Falmouth Hospital after being shot twice, one shot hit his vest, the other just above the vest.

The other officer was treated and later released after a bullet grazed his head.

The suspect was shot multiple times and was also hospitalized.

There is no further information at this time.
