2 families displaced after Pawtucket house fire

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Two families are displaced after a fire at a multi-family home in Pawtucket on Monday, according to the American Red Cross.
Pawtucket Fire Department Battalion Chief Michael Polacek said firefighters responded to the home on Harrison Street to find a kitchen fire on the second floor.
Officials said the fire did not extend to other floors of the home.
A dog was rescued from the second floor, and nobody was injured.
The Red Cross is assisting the four adults and six children that lived in the house.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
