2 homes damaged by large fire in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) —  A fire broke out that severely damaged two homes in Providence Tuesday night.

This is a photo of firefighters supplying water to two homes bearing smoke and fire damage on Indiana Avenue in Providence.

According to Providence Fire Department’s Chief, Derek Silva, crews are battling a two-alarm fire on Indiana Avenue involving two homes that started around 7 p.m.

ABC 6 News crews on the scene reported seeing heavy smoke throughout the neighborhood as well as heavy smoke and fire damage to two homes next to one another.

Flames began reappearing from the homes more than an hour after crews began battling the blaze.

No injuries were reported as of 7:14 p.m.
