20-year-old dies in Somerset highway crash

SOMERSET, Mass. (WLNE) — A 20-year-old Swansea woman died in a motor vehicle accident on I-195 west in Somerset Friday morning.

Rylee O’Connor was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash shortly after 2 a.m.

Her vehicle was located in the median by responding Massachusetts State Police troopers, who were assisted by Somerset and MassDOT officials.

The road was partially closed until 6 a.m.
