2020 Scituate Art Festival canceled due to health concerns

SCITUATE, RI (WLNE) – The Scituate Art Festival that was slated to be held for Oct. 10- 12 has been canceled due to public health concerns from COVID-19.

According to a Facebook post on the Scituate Art Festival Facebook Page, the festival committee reached a unanimous vote on Friday to cancel the festival for 2020.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce this, but know that we reached this decision with great consideration for the health of our community, exhibitors, and the integrity of the show,” the Facebook post says. 

The post goes on to claim that “2021 will be the best festival yet!”
