29 to graduate from Rhode State Island Police Training Academy

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island State Police will celebrate its graduating class today.
29 police men and women will be graduating from the Rhode Island Police Academy today.
The event will take place at Community College of Rhode Island in Lincoln.
Col. Darnell Weaver will present graduates with diplomas and badges.
According to a release, the academy is designed to challenge each recruit to determine if one possesses the necessary intelligence, emotional stability, physical stamina, and other criteria necessary to meet training objectives and duty requirements of serving with the Rhode Island State Police.
