3 arrested, 1 hospitalized after targeted attack in Central Falls

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WLNE) — The Central Falls Police Department said three men were arrested after a “targeted attack” that sent one person to the hospital on Sept. 27.
Byron Cadenas and Byron Perez were charged with felony assault and disorderly conduct, while Yaonathan Reyes was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstruction.
Police were called to the corner of Dexter Street and Darling Street around 11:50 p.m. for reports of a person attacked with a machete.
When officers arrived, Central Falls Police said they found a man with cuts to his arm and back.
The victim told police that two men had attacked him, and officers identified two suspects trying to run from the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said all four men knew each other.
