3 injured in New Bedford balcony collapse

Three people were injured after a balcony collapsed in New Bedford Wednesday morning.
Workers from Moreno Construction were on the balcony of the Phillips Avenue home making arrangements to remove it when it collapsed beneath them.
39-year-old Polin Andrade and 42-year-old Concepcion Andrade, of New Bedford, suffered neck and back injuries and were taken to Rhode Island Hospital. Their injuries are not considered life threatening.
34-year-old Carlos Moreno-Ochao, also of New Bedford, sustained a leg injury and did not seek medical attention.
City inspectors responded to the scene. The accident is currently under investigation by OSHA.
