3 students charged after fight at Providence school where principal was ‘assaulted’

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said a large disturbance and fighting at Mt. Pleasant High School ended with multiple arrests.

Police Chief Oscar Perez said that two adult and one juvenile students were charged after police responded to the school to assist an SRO.

The principal of the school was also reportedly assaulted when they tried to intervene in the fight.
