3-year-old recovering after hit by a car in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – A 3-year-old is recovering after she was hit by a car in Providence Friday night.

Providence Police say the 3-year-old was running across America Street around 6:30 p.m. Friday.

The 3-year-old girl was sent to Hasbro Children’s Hospital with a leg injury.

According to police, the  21-year-old driver was charged with driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
