39th Charlestown Seafood Festival to be held this weekend

CHARLESTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The 39th annual Charlestown Seafood Festival is back this weekend at Ninigret Park.

The event welcomes everyone to partake in the various dinning opportunities, musical entertainments, fireworks, a car show, amusements, and more.

According to a release, The Seafood Festival is the biggest fundraiser for the Charlestown Chamber of Commerce and brings together a plethora of seafood harvesters, vendors, aquaculture growers, restaurateurs, and concessionaires down the east coast.

The funds raised by The Charlestown Seafood Festival are vital to the Chamber’s mission to support local businesses and boost tourism.

The event starts tonight and runs until Sunday, August 4.

General admission starts at $12.
