5 garbage trucks damaged by fire in Warwick

Preliminary investigation has determined the cause of a fire that heavily damaged five garbage trucks at the Warwick Department of Public Works on Monday.
Captain Furtado of Warwick Police tells ABC6 that the cause of the fire was electrical.
Reports of fire and heavy smoke in the area of 925 Sandy Lane came in around 4 p.m. Monday evening after the building had closed for the day.
Mayor Avedisian says trash pick-up will continue as scheduled this week and next, with only minor delays.
No one was injured in the fire.
