6 people displaced after house fire in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Fire Department said six people are displaced after a fire at a multi-family home on Manton Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters arrived to find light smoking conditions, and discovered flames in the back of the house, according to Providence Fire Department Assistance Chief Robert Butler.
Firefighters were able to rescue a cat and iguana from the home.
13 residents live in the home, and officials said nobody was injured.
Six are displaced, but have found a place to stay tonight.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
