68 pot plants, 13 bags of weed found in Smithfield woman’s garage

A Smithfield woman was arrested after police say she illegally grew marijuana at her home.

Police arrested 57-year-old Donna Reis Wednesday after finding 68 marijuana plants and 13 bags of marijuana – weighing over 5 kilograms total – in a detached garage at her Douglas Pike home. They also found scales and packaging materials.

Reis was charged with unlawful manufacturing of marijuana, possession greater than 5 kilograms, and possession with intent to deliver.
