68-year-old man drowns in Plymouth pond

A jet skier found the victim in the water near an overturned kayak.

PLYMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE)- Police say a 68-year-old man was found unresponsive in a Plymouth pond on Saturday.

Officials say a jet skier found the victim, an elderly man from Bridgewater, in the water near an overturned kayak at White Island Pond.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene after life-saving measures were unsuccessful.

The man’s name has not yet been identified.
