7 arrested after fight at Block Island Ferry dock

NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WLNE) — The Narragansett Police Department said that seven people were arrested after a ” large fight” at the Block Island Ferry dock on June 15.
The department said multiple officers responded to the dock around 8 p.m. for a report of 20 to 30 people fighting.
42-year-old Maneul Pina, of Brockton, was charged with felony assault, resisting arrest, obstructing an officer, and disorderly conduct.
28-year-old Gilda Antunes, of Brockton, was charged with obstructing an officer.
31-year-old Elsa Lopes, of Brockton, was charged with simple assault, resisting arrest, obstructing an officer, and disorderly conduct.
32-year-old Henry Lopes, Jr., of Providence, was charged with disorderly conduct.
39-year-old Victor Manuel Gomes Depina, of Brockton, was charged with obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct.
36-year-old Michael Gomes Lopes, of Brockton, was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
In addition, a 16-year-old was also charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
Two people were transported to area hospitals via ambulance for treatment of injuries sustained during the fight.
The seven suspects are expected to be arraigned on June 17.
