7 discharged, 2 remain hospitalized after Brown University shooting

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Brown University President Christina Paxson said seven people who were injured in Brown University shooting have been discharged from the hospital.

On Dec. 13, two students were killed and several others were wounded after a gunman opened fire inside the Barus and Holley Engineering Building at Brown University.

Nine students were hospitalized, seven of whom have since been discharged.

According to Paxson, the “conditions of the injured victims continue to improve.”
