70-year-old man found shot to death in Wareham

Massachusetts State Police, as well as Wareham Police, are investigating the suspicious death of a 70-year-old man found shot to death in his home.

John Williams was found unresponsive in his Glenn Charley Road home in Wareham Tuesday, bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds.

Williams’ body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine the exact manner and cause of death.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office says there does not appear to be any threat to the general public at this time.
