UPDATE: Scene of 8-car crash in Attleboro cleared, 4 left in critical condition

ATTLEBORO, M.A. (WLNE) – An 8 car crash that occurred Friday morning has left one person in critical condition. 

Massachusetts State Police announced just before 7 a.m. that all lanes on 95 northbound were shut down, and they began detouring off of exit 5.

Lanes began reopening on the highway at approximately 7:30 a.m. 

Those injured in the crash were brought to both Rhode Island Hospital and Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

The victim in critical condition was brought to Rhode island Hospital. 

The crash was cleared and all lanes were reopened shortly before 8:45 a.m.
