9 displaced after fire in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The American Red Cross is helping six adults and three children after a fire yesterday on Gentian Avenue in Providence.

The fire was reported last night, and photos were shared of the fire via Special Signal Fire Association/Providence Canteen.

ABC 6 has reached out to officials for additional information on the incident.

The Red Cross said those affected are working with caseworkers in the coming days to work on a longer-term recovery plan.
