80 local business to be featured at Rhode Island Women’s Expo

WARIWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Women’s Expo is coming to the Crowne Plaza in Warwick March 17.

The event will feature 80 local businesses with services including reiki and massage and samplings from several Rhode Island venues, as well as other artisans and vendors.

There will be a fashion show, cooking demonstrations and the first 200 women to enter will receive an exclusive swag bag.

Free health screenings will be available, with hereditary cancer genetic risk information, assessments, consults and testing.

Special guest speakers include:

  • Lauren Canuel, LICSW-ACSW-BCD, is a licensed psychotherapist and dynamic speaker who promotes a holistic approach to WEIGHT LOSS AND RELAPSE PREVENTION. She grew up in a dysfunctional home and realized self-medicating with food was how she coped with her problems. At 285 pounds in her 20’s, she lost the weight and has kept it off.
  • Debbie Squizzero, is a well known PSYCHIC MEDIUM and Certified Grief Counselor and Author. Her purpose as a Medium is to connect people with their deceased loved ones and/or provide them guidance, clarity or insight they may be seeking for past, present, or future issues.
  • Katy Annulli Owner of KMA Organizing brings you a Guide to ORGANIZING YOUR LIFE! There are people who are more organized than others, but organization is a learned skill. I have found that clearing a space also clears my mind of mental clutter as well.
  • Jaclyn Raspallo is an online transformation coach specializing in fitness, nutrition and mindset and a mom of 2! She helps busy women transform their bodies, mindset, and life through a 3 month program and online course-The BodyMindFitProject.
  • Dr. Jessica Papa is a Physical Therapist, Educator, Author, and Founder of Arancia Physical Therapy.  She is a leading spine and  Postpartum Women’s Health Specialist in RI.

  • Chef and Nutritionist Victoria Fabbo MPH, RD, LDN is ready to have you hungry at the COOKING STAGE with one of her favorite salad dishes which she will demonstrate how to prepare. (Come hungry – you’ll have an opportunity to do some tasting as well).
