9 dogs rescued after flames rip through Raynham home

RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — A fire ripped through a home in Raynham Tuesday afternoon.
Fire Chief Bryan LaCivita said the fire started just after 12:30 p.m. on Center Street.
Upon arrival, firefighters witnessed smoke and flames coming from the first and second floors of the home.
LaCivita said a resident who was home at the time was able to get out safely with eight dogs before firefighters arrived.
Once at the scene, firefighters rescued a ninth dog from the home.
Center Street remains closed while crews battle the fire.
