Football season is back. The New England Patriots kicked off their first day of training camp Thursday in Foxboro. Thousands of fans showed up to get a glimpse into what may be the most talked about Patriots season ever.
The 90 degree heat didn’t stop more than 12,000 fans from showing up to Gillette Stadium to see their favorite players. Fans kept a close eye on the practice field and walked away with their own analysis of what’s to come in this much anticipated season.
The most talked about position was quarterback as Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to start the first quarter of the regular season while Tom Brady serves his deflategate suspension.
Training camp is free and open to the public Friday and throughout the rest of the weekend. There’s also a fan zone set up in the parking lot with food and games.
