Malala speaks at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence

Hundreds came out to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center Thursday night to see Malala, the girl who stood up to the Taliban.
At the age of 14, Malala was shot in the head by member of the Taliban, but she survived to tell her story.
She is now an advocate for equal education and the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.
She is also an inspiration and role model for many including Miss Rhode Island
“Malala has been a person inspiration of mine… Education.”
Malala was also named one of the 100 most influential people in the world’ in 2013 by Time Magazine.
