Family hospitalized after Providence house fire

A house fire in Providence sent a family to the hospital.

Crews responded to Bradley Street just before 10:30 Wednesday morning for a home on fire. An adult and two kids were inside at the time and were taken to the hospital.

A firefighter was also treated for heat exhaustion.

Several pets inside didn’t make it.

A neighbor describes the scene: “I did meet the lady. The poor woman is so upset she lost her animals… but you can understand that because she lost her animals."

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
