Stop & Shop begins Turkey Express alongside Boys & Girls clubs of RI

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) – Stop & Shop has partnered with the Boys & Girls clubs of Rhode Island to make sure some families stay a little warmer this Thanksgiving.

Turkey Express will begin tomorrow, Saturday November 20, at 10:00 a.m. at the Stop & Shop on Cottage Street in Pawtucket. During the event, over 20,000 pounds of turkey and a variety of sides including gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce and corn will be loaded into Boys & Girls club trucks from around the state.

The program will deliver 21,500 turkeys to 25 community partners and hunger relief organizations across New England.
