Pawtucket Police investigate shooting

Pawtucket police reported to a home on Carpenter Street Monday afternoon.

Police say a shots were fired at around 2:30 p.m. on the 3 floor of 10 Carpenter St.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.

Police have not released the man’s name, and there is no word on any arrests.

This investigation is ongoing.
