Fans of ‘Pokemon Go’ invited to play at McCoy Stadium

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) _ The Pawtucket Red Sox are inviting fans of “Pokemon Go” to catch `em all at McCoy Stadium.

The Triple-A baseball team says fans will be invited to play the popular new smartphone game on the field and around the ballpark after the series finale against Charlotte on Sunday. The game starts at 1:05 p.m.

People with tickets to the game will be allowed to participate.

Those who cannot attend but still want to catch Pokemon can buy a $5 ticket and be admitted through Gate B after the game. The festivities will start after the postgame Run the Bases event.

“Pokemon Go” players will have about an hour to catch Pokemon. The PawSox say the stadium is loaded with them.
