Bristol-Warren School Committee pick new Superintendent

BRISTOL, R.I. (WLNE)- The Bristol Warren School Committee announced Monday night that Ana Riley will be the school districts new Superintendent.
Riley has served in this position before as Superintendent of Portsmouth schools from 2014-2020. She was named Deputy Commissioner for Instructional Programs for the Rhode Island Department of Education, serving from 2020 till her current appointment in Bristol-Warren.
The announcement comes after interim Superintendent Robert Hicks resigned just six weeks after being hired. This is the sixth Superintendent in 2 and a half years for the district.
