Bed bug concerns in Attleboro

A bed bug infestation is happening at an Attleboro housing apartment complex. People living at the River Court apartments on Hodges St. say the problem started a few weeks ago on the 4th floor.

Several people reported seeing bugs inside in their homes. The city sent an exterminator in to spray, but now they say bugs are spreading to other floors, forcing many to find a new place to stay.

"They were pouring out of the back of the toilet and the back of the sink," says resident Claire Paine.

Paine says the problem started inside another tenants apartment who is known as a horder and she says the woman wont let exterminators in.

She says the city’s housing authority is getting a court order to get in and spray the apartment.
