Johnny Hayes IV Holds Two Stroke Lead After Day 1 of the RI Amateur at Point Judith

Johnny Hayes IV out of Newport Country Club shot an even par 71 to lead after the first round of the RI Amateur Golf Tournament at Point Judith Country Club.   Billy Andrade’s son Cameron is alone in second place, two shots off the lead.
 

Three-time champion Dr. George Pirie shot 74 to finish three strokes off the lead.
