Mayor Frank Picozzi to raise donations with annual light display

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE)- Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi and his family are kicking off the holiday season on Friday, by sharing their annual Christmas light display at his home in the city.
Thousands of people within the city’s community as well as surrounding towns drive past Picozzi’s house every year to see this elaborate light display that synchronizes to music.
The light display will start Friday and will run through New Years Eve. The display will be active Sundays through Thursdays during that window, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
There will be a donation box at the display. All proceeds will go to the Tomorrow Fund of Hasboro Children’s Hospital, an independent non-profit charitable organization that provides daily Financial and Emotional Support to children with cancer and their families.
Picozzi and his family have been raising thousands of dollars for the charity for years. All donations are voluntary.
There will also be a Santa’s mailbox for the kids to drop off their letters to Santa. All letters put in the mailbox with a return self-address will get a letter back from Santa.
