Fourth of July fireworks, events in Rhode Island/Massachusetts area

Fourth of July is around the corner, and ABC6 has you covered with a guide to fireworks shows in the Rhode Island/Massachusetts area for this year’s three daylong celebration.

Warwick’s annual fireworks display will be held at the Oakland Beach seawall on July 5th starting at 9 p.m.

East Providence fireworks will be taking place at the Pierce Memorial Stadium on July 3rd beginning at 9 p.m.

North Providence fireworks will begin at 9 p.m. on July 3rd.

Block Island fireworks show will be held on July 3rd at the Town Beach Pavilion at 9 p.m.

Bristol fireworks display will be happening at the Independence Park on July 3rd. Fireworks start at approximately 9:30 p.m.

South Kingstown’s July 4th celebration begins at 9 p.m. at the Old Mountain Field.

Watch the spectacular Newport fireworks from Rose Island on July 4th starting at 9 p.m.

Misquamicut Beach fireworks are scheduled to start at dusk on July 4th.

Newport Harbor 4th of July fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m.

Escobar’s Farm, located in Portsmouth, fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. on Independence Day.

Scallop Town Park in East Greenwich with set their fireworks off on the 4th at 9 p.m.    

Patriot Place will be celebrating the 4th of July with its annual Fireworks Spectacular at the dining, shopping and entertainment complex in Foxborough on July 3rd.

The fireworks display begins at 9 p.m.

To honor the men and women who are serving our country, Six Flags New England will be inviting all active and retired military (with valid identification) to the park for free.

Each evening starting on July 2nd to July 4th at 9:30 p.m. guests will be able to enjoy firework presentations.

New Bedford Harbor’s Independence Day fireworks display will be staged, beginning at 9 p.m.

Watch the city of Fall River’s magnificent display of fireworks from the deck of the battleship USS Massachusetts on July 4th. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.

If you do not plan on attending any of the fireworks displays, but are considering putting on your own firework show at home, please be cautious.

Experts say to read all working labels and follow the instructions on fireworks’ packages.

Do not put any type of fireworks or flammables near children.

Do not light fireworks if you have been drinking alcohol.

Never carry fireworks in your pocket.

Be sure other people and pets are out of range before lighting fireworks.
