Direct flight to Azores returns to T.F. Green

Back by popular demand, the flight to and from the Azores is returning to T.F. Green.
Management at the airport says because of the large Portuguese population in the area the trip was often requested.
The flight used to make seasonal trips about 7 years ago but it was phased out.
This summer T.F. Green is giving it another try. There will be one flight a week on Thursdays from June through September.
Going forward they will evaluate if they will add more flights by seeing how well utilized it is.
