Warwick cruiser crashes with another car, then strikes Post Road home

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE)- Warwick police have released details about the Post Road accident that saw a police cruiser drive crash into a house.

Warwick Police have confirmed there was a minor accident at 3:21 p.m. on Post Road where a police cruiser was involved in a accident with another vehicle, causing the cruiser to leave the roadway and hit a home.

The Police officer and two occupants of the vehicle were transported to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. The two vehicles were towed from the scene, and there is structural damage at the home.

ABC6 News Crews were on the scene and could see multiple police investigating, Warwick police confirmed the Warwick Police department Crash Reconstruction Team are investigating the crash.
