Woman arrested for DUI following rollover crash

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) – State police say a 21-year-old woman was arrested for suspicion of a DUI after causing a rollover crash on 146 South in Lincoln Saturday night. 

Police say they responded to 146 South at Wilbur Road in Lincoln just after 11:10 p.m. Saturday for a rollover crash.

The impact caused the two cars involved to travel off road into the grass area on the side of the highway, according to state police. 

State police say the victim’s vehicle rolled over once it traveled off road into the grass area.

That person was transported to RI hospital for evaluation.

There is no determined cause yet but state police believe this could of been a rear-end accident.

State police say the names of the individuals involved are not being released at this time.
