Pawtucket Police are investigating 3 separate shootings that happened in the span of 4 hours.
Around 10:00 Tuesday night, a witness reported seeing shots fired from a black sedan into another vehicle on Japonica Street near the intersection of Fountain Street. The vehicle was occupied but no one was injured.
An hour later, police were called to 31 Benefit Street where they found bullet holes in the garage of that home, and in a vehicle in the driveway. No one was injured.
Three hours after that, at 2:00 Wednesday morning, police responded to East Avenue near Pawtucket Avenue for another shooting. The victim told police he was walking when a dark sedan pulled up beside him and asked where he was from. The passenger got out of the car and a struggle ensued with the victim, and then a gun was shown. The victim suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
