BREAKING: Human remains found in Providence identified
Human remains found buried deep behind an old mill building on Branch Avenue in providence back in March have been identified as Steven Disarro.
The FBI and the State’s Medical Examiners Office making that confirmation.
The 43-year-old disappeared back in 1993.
No one has been charged with his murder but former La Cosa Nostra boss, Frank "Cadillac" Salemmi, was charged with obstruction of justice and making false statements regarding his disappearance.
The FBI says the investigation will continue to find those responsible for Disarro’s death.
