LaSalle Beats Smithfield in Battle for Top Spot in D-1, Hendricken Outlasts St. Ray’s

LaSalle defeated Smithfield, 69 to 51 in a battle between two teams with the top records in the Division 1.  Mike McCourt scored a game high 23, reaching 1,000 points in his career.  Lawrence Sabir scored 13 and also reached 1,000 pts.

In another big D-1 showdown, Hendricken held off St. Ray’s, 64 to 54 in double overtime.
