LaSalle, Cranston East, Coventry, South Kingstown Advance To Girls Basketball Final Four

Four Elite Eight games were played Saturday in the RIIL Girls Basketball Open State Tournament.

Top-seeded LaSalle wrapping up the action with a 44-25 victory over Portsmouth.

The Rams will face Cranston East next week. The Thunderbolts beating St. Raphael Academy, 51-41.

In the most exciting game of the day Saturday, Coventry hands Moses Brown a loss in overtime, 62-58.

The first game of the day also took an overtime to decide it. South Kingstown edges Bay View, 52-50. The Rebels next clash with the Oakers next weekend.
