Police investigate shots fired at car in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Providence Police responded to gun shots being fired at a vehicle Wednesday night.

Police responded to the scene where an 18-year-old male stated his car had been shot at by a driver in a black CRV at the intersection of Bucklin Street.

There were two other passengers in the victim’s car at the time of the shooting, according to police.

One passenger was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by rescue for pieces of glass in his eye.

The other passenger was transported by rescue to Hasboro Children’s Hospital for non-life threatening injuries from the glass.

Police observed two gun shot rounds through the vehicle.

The car has been taken into custody by officials for further investigation.
