Warwick man indicted on conspiring to commit acts of terrorism

Boston, Mass- Nicholas Alexander Rovinski, of Warwick, along with David Dauod Wright, of Everett, Ma, were charged in a superseding indictment with conspiracy to commit acts of terrorism transcending national boundaries today in Boston.

Rovinski, 25, along with Wright, were indicted along with additional conspiracy allegations in court today. A grand jury in June 2015 charged them with conspiracy to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levent (ISIL). The indictment also charged Wright with conspiracy to obstruct justice and obstruction of justice.

Aliases for Rovinski include Nuh Amriki and Nuh Andalusi.  Wright is also known as Dawud Sharif Abdul Khaliq.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney B. Stephanie Siegmann of the District of Massachusetts’s National Security Unit and Trial Attorney Greg R. Gonzalez of the National Security Division’s Counterterrorism Section.
