U.S. News & World Report announces the top ranked public high schools in RI

Washington, D.C. – U.S. News & World Report announces the top ranked public high schools in RI. To be eligible for a state ranking, a school must be awarded a national gold or silver medal.
The top 10 schools are:
- Classical High School, Providence
- Barrington High School, Barrington
- Portsmouth High School, Portsmouth
- East Greenwich High , East Greenwich
- North Kingstown Sr. High, No. Kingstown
- Lincoln Senior High School, Lincoln
- Middletown High School, Middletown
- Narragansett High School, Narragansett
- Chariho High School, Wood River Junction
- Mt. Hope High School, Bristol
There are a total of 18 RI schools in the U.S. News best high school rankings, including two gold medal schools, eight silver medal schools, and eight bronze medal schools.
