WEST WARWICK, RI –  Alan Peiczarka, 61, of West Warwick was arrested Monday and charged with disorderly conduct after a video captured him screaming in his daughters face, threatening her and swearing at her.

The video went viral after it was uploaded to Youtube and Facebook.  ABC6 obtained the police report that states the screaming match started with an argument over a lap top. It quickly escalated, and when the girl tried to run out of the room, Peiczarka grabbed her by the collar of her shirt, and took her down. Her head slammed to the ground.

Peiczarka told police his daughter punched him multiple times in the face. In the report, the police officer noted he did not see any injury, swelling or redness to the Peiczarka’s face. The girl is not seen punching anyone in the video.

"I cried when I saw the video, she was crying for someone to call the police," one neighbor told ABC6 news.

Neighbors asked not be identified, but said around 5 children live at the house. Some of which, are adopted. Multiple residents said they see police at Peiczarka’s house all the time.

"A lot of police activity over there. We mind our business and try not to get involved," said neighboring residents.

DCYF is investigating the incident, and confirmed that despite the video caption, "Foster Parent in West Warwick Rhode Island," Peiczarka is not an active foster parent.
